Compared to financing, leasing a vehicle opens up many new opportunities that you can explore, and here at Mazda of Port Charlotte, we’ll be ready to help you understand and navigate all your options. To get started, check out the points below that’ll cover lease buyouts, how to cancel a lease, as well as ways to renew one.

Lease Buyout

Most lease contracts have a lifespan of two to four years, so there’s a good bit of wiggle room when it comes to just how much time you want to commit to any one vehicle. Unlike with financing, leasing will come with a set mileage limit, so you’ll only be able to drive your car for a predetermined number of miles, as fees will be incurred if you go over the agreed upon amount. The trade off is that your monthly payment for a leased vehicle is much less than what it would be for a financed vehicle, because you’re only expected to pay for the depreciation of the car. However, once the end of your contract comes, you’ll have the choice of switching to a traditional financing plan to gain total ownership of the vehicle, which is ideal for those who end up loving their leased Mazda.

Lease Renewal

After accumulating a fair number of miles on your leased vehicle amidst your commutes on Route 41, you may come to the realization that you’re ready to switch things up. This is why you’ll have the option to return the car you’ve been driving to our dealership and browse our extensive inventory of new Mazda models to find another candidate for a new lease. This is an excellent way to keep yourself at the forefront of what’s new in the automotive industry, as you can have more affordable monthly installments while always being behind the wheel of a factory-fresh car every two to four years. If you’re particularly interested in testing the waters of many different types of vehicles before ultimately committing to one long term, then leasing acts as a great way to achieve that goal.

Cancelling Your Lease

Due to leasing being more akin to borrowing than outright owning your vehicle, some people can feel uncertain of their options when it comes to these contracts. However, here at Mazda of Port Charlotte, we’re not out to try and keep you cycling through lease after lease if you find that it’s simply not an experience you enjoy. The unique benefits of leasing and financing a car are largely based on the individual customer, which is why we will work with you to find the best path forward. Should that involve you cancelling your lease, then you’ll be able to come to our location during business hours and do so with no strings attached!
